Fees and Service Pledge
A pledge amount of $8,500 per child is set for 2009 to cover the
costs in operating the School. A pledge reduction of 20% for a
second child and 30% for a third child applies.
Prospective parents of children who are not permanent residents
or Australian citizens need to contact the Registrar regarding fees.
A portion of the cost can be offset by pledging regular work in
service to the School. Examples of pledged service include lunch
preparation, cleaning, maintenance, gardening, etc. The balance
between pledge money and time given to the School may need to be
negotiated. However the minimum cash component required is $5,500
with the equivalent reduction for other children.
The Erasmus School Pledge Service System sets out full
guidelines and conditions of pledged service and a copy is handed
to all parents offering service.
Parents are required to complete a Pledge Form for each child
enrolled and to submit this to the school office during Term 4 of
the previous school year. Parents of pupils joining mid-year need
to complete the form before their child is formally accepted into
the school.
For full details download the Fee Policy from the Enrolment page. This has details
of additional costs such as for lunches, books and excursions.
