History is presented initially through stories of great people
who have contributed to the advancement of humanity. Heroes,
statesmen, saints and scholars provide inspiration to growing
minds.
In the upper grades the children learn, in a systematic
approach, about the great civilisations of Egypt, Ancient Greece
and Rome. They study the evolution of these civilisations, and
their magnificent contributions to the world through law, art,
music, philosophy, and so on.
Children also complete a thorough study of Australian
history.
