Every year Erasmus School celebrates Bookweek. In 2007 we
had a visit from author illustrator David Miller. David shared some
of his stories with the children and brought along some of his
remarkable paper sculptures used to illustrate his books. The
children also had a chance to create some paper models in a
workshop.
Children also dressed up as their favourite story character and
entered a parade. During the week a book stall was set up by
parents to sell books to families and raise money for the purchase
of new books for the library.
The week came to a close with a buddy reading session where the
older children shared stories with the younger ones.
