Teaching and Learning
The guiding principles are:
- Children learn by example
- The best material needs to be provided
- Never do anything to the point of boredom
- Regular testing is necessary
- In order to teach a child one has to become a child
- Never use force or pressure when imparting knowledge
- Encouragement is necessary
- Songs of praise are beneficial to the wellbeing of the
child
- Meditation can be offered to children once they turn ten
- Love needs to be balanced with discipline
- Revision in all subjects is needed
- Principles need to be learnt by heart
- Daily practice of all subjects is needed
- Regular practice leads to the formation of good habits of
study
- The child should form habits of doing things sincerely,
carefully and beautifully
